About SIAM
The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) aims to advance the application of mathematics and computational science to engineering, industry, science, and society.

About the Chapter
The SIAM student chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was created in the fall of 2006, is supported by the SIAM parent organization, and is a registered student organization at UIUC.

CSE Annual Symposium 2007

The 2007 Computational Science and Engineering Annual Research Symposium was held Tuesday, April 10. The complete schedule included two keynote speakers and eight CSE graduate student fellows.

SIAM took advantage of the gracious offer to co-sponsor the keynote talk delivered by Dr. Paul Fischer of Argonne National Lab. See the original announcement.
