Abstract

With more than a dozen research divisions ranging from the biosciences to nuclear physics, Argonne National Laboratory offers exciting opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to highlighting the Laboratory's major research activities, I will present my favorite examples of research projects in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division - projects that have won us acclaim for our parallel portable software and for our innovative technologies that are enabling scientific problem solving on leadership-class computers.
