May2 Please direct LogicWorks questions to the newsgroup. Office hours are generally not a productive time to ask questions about software usage and technical difficulties when many people still have questions relating to the Midterm and previous homework grades.
May1 Follow the directions for naming your CCT file before you send an email for Homework 11.  If the naming format is not correct we WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND IT and you will end up with a ZERO.  Read the homework directions carefully before sending an e-mail to the TAs. The e-mail subject should follow the same convention as the file: "HW11_netid"

HW7 updated version has been released in the Assignments page. The only update is that you only need to draw a state diagram for question 3 based on the states we provide to you. You DO NOT need to draw k-map or use flip-flop staff!

For homework 7 problem 4, please keep up with the newsgroup for some clarifications!

Feb9 Quiz 2 due date has been extended to Feb. 11th (Friday) 10:00am. And we have make the Compass to release your grades immediately after you finished all the questions and submitted! However, remember that you have up to 3 attempts! And every attempt last at most 1 hour! Please do not try a quiz for more than 1 hour! This grading policy will be used in the whole semester!

In response to inquiries by students: the lowest two quiz grades will be dropped at the end of the semester.
Feb7 After some discussion, we decided that question 7 is somewhat beyond the scope of the course, so only questions 1-6 would count in grading.

Also please note that, due to the snow day, the schedule for HW2 has also be pushed back from originally due Wed 9th to now due Thur 10th.
Feb2 We have extended submission of HW1 to Thursday at noon, and late submission to Friday noon.

We will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 10:50 for the main lecture and on Fridays from 10:00 to 10:50 for the weekly discussion/review sessions. 
Both the main lecture and review session will be held in 1404 SC.
