EDC call for proposals

The EDC is now accepting proposals for funding. Deadline: 20 September 2013.  Please follow the link for guidelines.

For 2013: all groups requesting space in ESPL for the 2013-2014 year, please also note in the proposal instructions a new requirement that groups submit a sheet of printed photos of members desiring access to ESPL with the proposal.  

Teams invited to present their proposals to the Engineering Design Council must follow the presentation guidelines given in Instructions for Slide Presentations.

ESPL safety policy

The College of Engineering would like to support and encourage multi-disciplinary design projects for decades to come. To ensure this goal safety must be foremost in everyone's mind. It would be a tragedy if someone is injured. It would also likely shut down ESPL entirely for everyone. We want to do everything that we can to ensure that ESPL is safe, and you will be an integral part of accomplishing this goal. The following safety guidelines/ rules were drafted with the consultation of student project leaders. All students are to sign and date the present document indicating that they read, understand, and will abide by the contained policy before they enter the ESPL facility. The signed forms are to be collected by the team safety officer, recorded, and submitted to the ESPL Laboratory Supervisor.
